European agent Dimitri Seluk feels that Andrei Arshavin's next port of call will probably be Fulham, with Russian groups being priced out of a package. Seluk, who not represent Arshavin himself, said the forward desires to stay static in London and has demanded earnings that Spanish and Russian sides have baulked at, leaving England as his latter. The 31 year-old has been quite definitely in the periphery at Arsenal this season, presenting for only 16 minutes for the North London area and, with his commitment working out at the conclusion of the season, he's known to be searching for a brand new club. With the Russian exchange window contract falling today, Arshavin may often have to reduce his demands or, as Seluk indicates, a team like Fulham could well be his next destination. "Top English groups won't get him," Seluk told Sports.Ru. "And considering the fact that he doesn't wish to leave London, the next team for Arshavin is going to be Fulham or something such as that." Aside from Arshavin's unquestionable skill, whether he would fit Martin Jol's area is questionable. On the bad part of 30, he is not getting any younger and, with famous brands Mark Schwarzer, Giorgios Karagounis and Damien Duff already complementing Fulham's squad, yet more knowledge isn't hugely essential. The former Zenit player features a wealth of imagination which could well aid the regular debt mounted on Dimitar Berbatov to hold the staff but, on one other hand, he is as yet not known for his defensive capabilities. With Bryan Ruiz holding similar faculties, there is, really, no place for him at Fulham. Particularly not on his wages, at the least.
