Borussia Dortmund set to make a move for Arsenal fringe star in the ...

Tomas Rosicky was tipped to set the stage on fire when he joined Arsenal in 2006. 7 years later, many have been left wondering what might have been, with the Czech's career having been hampered by numerous injuries.

The 32-year old is currently fit to play, but is now struggling to play himself back into the first team. This has alerted his former club Borussia Dortmund, who are believed to be looking to re-sign the player with an aim of utilizing his popularity to gain a revenue windfall.

The player himself has admitted that he is frustrated at the lack of opportunities and was quoted by the Daily Express as saying, "Naturally, I would like to play more often, that's for sure" He added. "It's the manager's team and I fully respect his decisions. I cannot do anything else other than train properly and wait for a chance."

Given his age and Arsenal's youth centric policy, he is very likely to move before the start of the next season. This will be welcomed by even Arsene Wenger, since a squad makeover is on the cards at Arsenal after yet another woeful season, and his exit would free up space on the wage bill for new signings.
