The Oklahoma City Thunder gave the ball away a few too many times, supporting Game to be taken by the Memphis Grizzlies 2, 99-93, Tuesday evening at Chesapeake Energy Arena. All night turnovers were a challenge for the Thunder. If the one person who simply could not produce a error, made one, the contest was over. Kevin Durant needed to be ideal for his staff to manage the Memphis Grizzlies. But as as his 36-point, 11-rebound, nine-assist evening remarkable was, he wasn't great. Durant dedicated five of Oklahoma City's 19 turnovers, nothing more expensive than when he tripped and coughed the ball up with 54 seconds left and his group down four. Alternatively, still another near-triple-double won out, as Mike Conley's 26 things, 10 rebounds and seven assists proved to be enough. He, unlike Durant, got a large amount of help from his teammates to push the line to a 1-1 tie. Marc Gasol devote 24 points and Zach Randolph cracked in 15, helping give a nice inside-outside game for the Grizzlies. As a result of 15 points off 11 turnovers, and 6-of-8 firing from Gasol through the first two groups, Memphis was up 54-51 at the half. The two teams nearly actually went shot-for-shot through the 3rd quarter, till Fisher and Durant got back-to-back buckets with some amazing bad play. Durant posted 13 points in the quarter, providing OKC a 74-69 lead entering the final figure. Unfortunately, Durant's just bad aid was a number of Derek Fisher threes. Fisher turned in a surprising 19 points on 4-of-5 firing from beyond the arc, but also that was not enough. Mike Conley's first three of the game, followed by a Tony Allen steal and quick break, tied things up very nearly just after play started in the next quarter. Within the initial 3 minutes of the fourth, Allen had acquired four points, two steals, one assist and a recovery. Scott Brooks was forced to perform Nick Collison for a lot of the last quarter thanks to Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka's bad trouble. As you had envision, the Grizzlies frontcourt capitalized and attacked. Durant was forced to be on a where all he could do was try to find his or her own picture. With his teammates unable to sustain, the Thunder celebrity poured in seven straight, nearly single-handedly letting pace to be kept by OKC with Memphis. The Gasol-Conley coupling was working efficiently through the night. The mixture includes a wonderful driving partnership, and it absolutely was on full display in a property that gave an open three to Conley to put Memphis up two at the 2:00 mark. Conley peeled off a pick and netted a jumper from the timeout, pressing the Grizzlies lead to four with 1:04 remaining. From there, the Thunder threw in the towel two major turnovers and a huge Tayshaun Prince bad rebound with 34 seconds left. Memphis counted 16 offensive boards on the night. The Grizzlies keep the second-round series to be opened by Oklahoma City with a hard-earned split. If the series changes to Memphis on Saturday Things won't get any easier for the Thunder.
