Brent Grimes, Elvis Dumervil and Darrius Heyward-Bey are three of the NFL's top free agents left on the market following a week of action. All three people have been receiving interest this past week but have yet to be closed. All the leading players were signed within the initial 72 hours of free agency. Teams with cash and dreams of progress made big splashes, landing big-name people. But there is still lots of ability left for the taking, and when most of the best deals will be arranged by experienced general managers the next handful of weeks will be. These three people could possibly be highly effective for new clubs in 2013, given the correct conditions. Brent Grimes Would Be a Wonderful Match Joe Haden and the Browns Scott Cunningham/Getty Photographs The cornerback industry has been frustratingly stingy for the top people in this year's free-agent class. Grimes, who's coming off an harm that held him out of most of this past year, is feeling the sting significantly more than most. Grimes recently visited with the Cleveland Browns, and he obviously enjoyed the visit, per the Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot: Spending time was enjoyed by "brent with the top coach and defensive coordinator," the source said. "He came away impressed using their over all policy for the 2013 season and beyond." Cabot also noted that her source said he, "is likely to start narrowing his options within the next few days." Before finding hurt, the Pro-Bowl spot was quickly becoming one of the NFL's top people at his position. He'll be described as a tremendous bargain if he could get back totally healthy and play at the same advanced he did before his unfortunate injury. The zone-coverage expert will be a perfect fit for Ray Horton's zone-blitz system. He'd challenge for a starting spot playing opposite Joe Haden, if he ends up signing with Cleveland. Elvis Dumervil Could Be Big Pickup for Ravens Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports After dropping Paul Kruger to the Indianapolis Colts, the Baltimore Ravens are allegedly using Dumervil, per the Baltimore Sun's Aaron Ross. Dumervil was published by the Denver Broncos after a fax wasn't reportedly got by his agent sent in time. He is been a highly effective pass-rusher for Denver days gone by couple of years, signing 63.5 sacks and 16 forced fumbles over his six-year career. Ross further reported that the Ravens' attention is, "ongoing": Also, the Denver Post's Mike Klis recently wrote that a source informed him that the Ravens are now negotiating with Dumervil. Dumervil will be a destructive pass-rusher opposite Terrell Suggs in the Ravens' 3-4 plan. He is been a defensive end his entire career, but his agility and quickness make outside linebacker for the Ravens as him a great candidate. Darrius Heyward-Bey Could Soon Be Joining the Circus in New York Rob Carr/Getty Photographs A week after the Oakland Raiders produced Heyward-Bey, it seems such as the former No. 7 total pick will be considered by the Newest York Jets, per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. The receiver was set to make $7.7 million in 2013 (h/t Rotoworld, via PFF), and the Raiders couldn't justify paying that form to him of income, given his insufficient production. Heyward-Bey looked to prepare yourself to break out after having a 2011 period that saw him get 64 moves for 975 yards and four touchdowns. Unfortuitously, he was not in a position to fit that production in 2012, catching just 41 moves for 606 yards and five touchdowns. That said, he is still a gifted child with plain speed. He'll be described as a bargain for the Jets, if he could possibly get back once again to the kind we found in 2011 at a fair price. Follow me on Twitter @JesseReed78
